Your tasks

Responsibility for the day to day management of the customer service and Central Order Management team, including absence management , making sure workload is fairly distributed and all tasks completed as well as to develop a culture of trust both within and outside the immediate team in the pursuit of delivering a quality service to the customer
Maintain quality standards and excellent customer service including Active Report management, administration of inbound/outbound shipments using internal systems and any associated tools.
To communicate and co-ordinate with internal departments as well as other branches in the network to ensure good working relations as well as to respond efficiently to customers and network requests for European and UK Road service in adherence with operational and service procedures and compliant with the European Manual & our Products.
Managing a portfolio of customers through the team ensuring that the business meet their service requirements and proactively inform the customer/ sales team if any issues or deviations to the product and provide an alternative course of action.

Two years’ experience in European road operations
Ability to understand how to maximise profit and maintain quality in the European Road transport business field
A proven track record of supervising the management of a team
Proven track record of customer account management
Demonstrable experience of delivering quality performance indicators
